Dear Oak Member,

We have an increasing number of Oak gatherings, chapters, and even larger Oak organizations springing up. We’re also getting great feedback from them about what seems to be working for them and what isn’t. One thing that is very obvious is how having an Oak gathering or chapter in a local church can bring a serious infusion of energy and help activate your members with something they know can enable their church to have an impact in their community. Dear Oak Member,

Just a few days ago Detroit was called not only the most dangerous city in America, but the most dangerous city in the world. Since I was there, I wanted to understand how this could happen to such a great American city. This is especially important because many of the same policies and the style of leadership that has led Detroit for decades is now being imposed on the whole nation.

Dear Oak Member,

We are working on the format for what we think will be a helpful brief sheet on current events that will be coming soon. This will include brief commentary on what the important events are, what they mean, and what their impact can be. This will also include some of the “behind the scenes” information that may not be readily available on the news. We are going to call these brief sheets “Oak Leaves” and think you will find them useful not only for brief but insightful facts about current events, but also can be used as talking points in your Oak meetings.

We are often asked if Oak will become another
